I Bought Something At WalMart Today

It took a lot for me to go into that store, but I had to find a cd burner for my sons birthday at a reasonable price.

I felt a little like a traitor to my small core belief system, but made my son very happy, and saved myself a few bucks.

If it had been anywhere else at a similar price, I would have gone there. The local computer store had them - for 30% more.

I may have a little money, but I don't throw it away.

I'm not ashamed, but maybe a little disappointed in myself. How easily I threw my slogans aways when it became personal.

How the hell does one justify spending and extra $40 if they don't have to?

2. Other stores that sell the same item...

will ALWAYS meet WalMart's prices if you ask them. I've gotten WM's prices at K-Mart, Target, and Walgreens. They all have published policies of meeting and/or exceeding their competitors' prices.

The town with the WalMart has none of those other options. I am sure my local supplier would laugh in my face if I asked him to match the price.

They'll have free shipping and great prices. Plus they have a $50 offer now on electronics.

Jeff Bezos is a great CEO. How many are there these days?

Check amazon for that burner and see if they're not at least as good on price.

DU is filled with anti-Microsoft-WalMart-Starbucks bigots and I'm PROUD to say I shop there because I LIKE the companies and their products/low prices/service.

for catfood, mine are verry picky and will only eat one brand
