They are getting rid of the GAYS in NY's Central Park?

I just heard on the news that they have some massive operation today to get rid of all the gays in New York's Central Park. That is just WRONG!

How can they do that? Is that legal? How could they know? Are they going to ask everyone entering Central Park their sexual preference?

I think this is so very very wrong. What has this country come to when a person's private life stops them from freely going where they want to go? This makes me hopping mad!!!

What she misunderstood was that the concern was for Soviet Jewry, not jewelry. For a while there was enormous political pressure on the old Soviet Union to allow Jews to emigrate to Israel and the Sovs didn't want to allow it. There was a lot of international attention paid to this for about, oh, the usual few weeks before everyone went on to another issue. I do believe the Soviets relented.
