Soapoperese, that's what I call it anyway. My wife tapes them, and all weekend long I'm listening to a style of speaking that I've never encountered in waking life.
Every line ends in a question, an uplift of the voice at the end, even a definitive statement such as I'll kill that man stealing slut!???? ends with a question mark.
I just turn the music up and whale on the nazis harder???
