Who Misses B-Sides?

Technically, I can't miss them because the era of singles and EP's was well before my time. But given that I like a lot of classic rock, I've come to appreciate the lowly b-side.

Singles and EPs are still viable formats in England. That's why so many British bands have many unreleased songs in the US - they're put onto EPs and singles and forgotten in the US.

Frankly, I wish we still had singles in the US - real singles, not just some $6 piece of sh*t that's just the song and a crappy remix or instrumental. I want $2 or $3 singles and EPs with the main song and two or three extra tracks that are as good as the main track!

Maybe the advent of online music shops will bring this concept back.
