What is "sour stomach"?

Is this the label we attach to burping a horrid rotten-egg-like gas?

Curdling stomachs want to know.

I am not sure what sour stomach refers to, but if you have uncomfortable gas that you are burping instead of farting, that helps somewhat.

But it tastes so nasty that I'm concerned it might be flu, in which case I'll lose any medicine I try to take...

4. Does it taste like puke?

Sometimes that happens to me, and I think it's similar to when you belch up something you just ate (the belch tastes like the food), but in this case it's the stomach acid you're tasting.

It's horrible...like spoiled eggs.
