Little Brown Jug half way to Minnesota
For the first time since the mid-'80s, I think.

14-0 Gophers at halftime and Michigan looks comatose. With a weak schedule and avoiding Ohio St, the Gophers actually have an outside chance to be in the BCS hunt heading into the finale at Iowa. This is the remaining schedule:

10-18-03 MICHIGAN STATE
10-25-03 at Illinois
11-1-03 INDIANA
11-8-03 WISCONSIN
11-15-03 at Iowa

Of course, we witnessed a halftime awakening just a few nights ago.

1. Now the Jug is in limbo
I must be the only one watching this, but what a hell of a game! Similar to Monday night.

Michigan has scored 28 4th quarter points to tie it at 35-35 with 4 minutes left. The Gopher QB threw an idiotic INT for a touchdown that revived Michigan several minutes ago.

Still don't know who the heck I'm rooting for.

2. I'm rooting for Minnesota
got no tv tho.

I attended Minn way back the last time 'we' got the jug. I want a Gopher vs Beaver Rose bowl. That's almost as much as hoping for a Sox/Cubs series. :-)

3. I started rooting for the Gophers too late, 38-35 Michigan final
Really absurd, losing despite 400+ rushing yards. I do statistical research, and that only happens once or twice per season.

Michigan kept the final drive alive with a QB sneak on 4th and inches at midfield. Then about their 15th screen pass of the night on 3rd and 9, setting up the field goal.

For some inane reason, Minnesota let the clock run down despite having 3 timeouts left. Gophers got it back with about 40 seconds and would have been past midfield, except for a dumb clip by a receiver when the QB ran out of bounds. Minnesota threw a desperation bomb that was intercepted.

5. Absolutely, the best week of the season
I'm surprised there has not been more discussion of them here. In the morning, no doubt.

I'm a 'Canes fan who just hopes our little QB, Brock Berlin, does not forfeit the game with stupid turnovers. If we're 2nd best on the field, fine. Just make FSU earn it.
