What's your favorite Cult Horror/B Grade Horror movie?

Mine would have to be Blood from the Mummy's Tomb. Of course it is a Hammer Horror Production. Filmed in 1971 in the U.K.

Great little cult horror about a group who goes on an archaelogical expedition and brings back pieces from a tomb. And the mummy seeking revenge by getting the pieces back all the while killing everyone who took part in the expedition. Including the possession of one of the guys daughters.

It is just one of those movies that is totally sick but one can bare to not watch.

13. Basket Case

It is about a guy with a twin growing out of his side. Pretty much just a head, arms and a big mouth full of pointy teeth. Real doctors won't operate on him so his parents get veterinarians to do it. They throw the twin in the trash, but it survives, The two are reunited and wreak vengence on those who seperated them. The evil twin gets carried around in a picnic basket. "What's in the basket?" becomes the catch phrase and of course anyone who utters it gets killed. It is a lot of fun is a sick sort of way.

18. I Walked with a Zombie

Artistic, sensitive, voodoo-themed version of Jane Eyre. I kid you not. Others missing from above listings - Day of the Dead (sequel to Night of, in mall in PA), Dead Alive, The Brain that Wouldn't Die (favorite camp movie), Eyes Without a Face, Cat People (the original, not the remake), Village of the Dammed (ditto) jeez, there's so many!

Has anyone ever seen Hammer's terror of the tongs? or know where I can get a copy?
Oh well B-horror movie The entire italian Zombie series 1-3 Night of the zombies being at the top followed by three.
Okay now on the asian pulp scene - Junk-versus-and bio-zombies are all totally outrageous and fun as hell.
What did buffs think of 28 days later, i thought it was a valient addition to the genre.

33. I have the VHS boxed set.. not as good as the others but still good.

It was done in '79 and the magic is still there!

Incidently, the first three films were also done as live BBC TV shows during the 50's. I have the one for "Quatermass and the Pit", 6 35-minute episodes 1958-1959. Not as polished as the films but longer, and if you like BBC TV these are a treat. They are hard to find.

One Danish/US coproduction directed by stinkmaster Sidney (Angrey Red Planet) Pink.
One actual B pic produced by low budget master Bert I. Gordon starring Peter Graves.
And one South Korean take on giant monster movies brought to the US by American International and released straight to TV.

41. Watched The Skull last night and then ...

Village of the Giants, a cheezzy 60s flick with Ron Howard as a boy genius. He invents some goo that makes anything that consumes it a giant. All the teenyboppers (including Beau Bridges) consume it and run rampant. Not horror, but horrible!

44. The Hills Have Eyes - early Wes Craven

Saw that on IFC when they were doing lots of horror - Argento stuff, Night of the Living Dead, Texas Chainsaw Massacre -- all classics. Some really excellent documentaries too -- one on 70s horror films, the other on George Romero. But Hills Have Eyes was the most memorable to me.
