How well do you know your toys?
Take some guesses. No fair Googling. I'll post the answers in awhile.

1. Who invented Lincoln Logs?

2. Who was president when the first box of Crayola crayons was made?

3. What famous game was rejected by a toy company because it was “too
complicated ... and took too long to play”?

4. What toy-in-an-egg flew on the spacecraft Apollo 8?

5. What popular toy is based on an Australian children’s game that used
bamboo hoops?

7. Well, they were both fun to bounce.
I remember when super balls came out. They were advertised almost like they were a new form of matter possessing infinite bounciness. Well, they were pretty cool.

17. You got number 3 right!
Lincoln invented Lincoln Logs. I guess you can't question the logic on that one. However, it is wrong.

24. Roosevelt is right!

As a matter of fact, Crayola is celebrating it 100th anniversary

1903
Noticing a need for safe, quality, affordable wax crayons, the company produces the first box of eight Crayola(r) crayons, selling for a nickel. The Crayola name, coined by Edwin Binney's wife Alice, comes from "craie," the French word for chalk, and "ola," from "oleaginous."

23. ok
I'll take another stab - at 2

John Adams.

Crayons are really not much more than colored wax, so it could easily be someone from that far back. I pick Adams rather Washington, just because.
