eBAY; Verify Information??
Some time ago some DUers were warning against an eBAY scam. I received this notice in my E mail a little while ago. Should I open it?

1. NO! Forward it to ebay. Do NOT do anything else with it.
These people are spoofing ebay subscribers to get your information ... and credit card number. It will link to a site that looks official. It isn't.

3. Do not respond to it
It's an attempt to get your personal information. I've gotten them from eBay, AOL, and other services I subscribe to. One was so badly misspelled it was almost laughable. Again, do not respond to them...just delete or report it to eBay.

5. If you are ever unsure...
Go directly to the ebay site and follow their links to your account. Never follow a link on an email! Shysters abound out there.

6. Nooo! Forward it to spoof@ebay.com. They will quickly..
let you know the skinny. I got a spoof email earlier this week. I did open the spoof form with my password to see what it was about. But I quickly changed my password afterwards.

7. Update
eBAY says it is a fake. A Spam, A ripoff. The answer came back from eBAY about two minutes after I forwarded the spam e mail. I used the E mail address provided by Kahuna in this thread.

Thank you boys and girls.
