...where the blind man is trying to enter the corner store and there's a huge display of light bulbs piled up?

2. No I think that one is it's a gift |

he's a bumbling grocer and inherits a worthless orange ranch and then manages to turn it into a fortune at the last minute. Actually it's much funnier than Poppy I guess, but for different reasons.

Fields was great - isn't this the one where the rich lady faints when he talks about snakes?

sorry. My brother loaned it to me. I know the movie you mean though. He owns a circus, and is trying to escape the sheriff. It has Edgar Bergen in it but I can't remember the name of the movie.

5. "Sally of the Sawdust"? |

Absolutely hilarious.
Haven't seen it for years, but Fields was brilliant. Funnier than most of his later talkies.

Ahhh yesssss. W.C. was one funny guy. Started in vaudeville as a "comic juggler". I particularly like his pool shooting scenes. Ed McMahon did a pretty good W.C. on the old Carson show.
