1. Is that the one...
...where the blind man is trying to enter the corner store and there's a huge display of light bulbs piled up?

2. No I think that one is it's a gift
he's a bumbling grocer and inherits a worthless orange ranch and then manages to turn it into a fortune at the last minute. Actually it's much funnier than Poppy I guess, but for different reasons.

3. Damn- what channel was it on?
Fields was great - isn't this the one where the rich lady faints when he talks about snakes?

4. I watched it on tape
sorry. My brother loaned it to me. I know the movie you mean though. He owns a circus, and is trying to escape the sheriff. It has Edgar Bergen in it but I can't remember the name of the movie.

5. "Sally of the Sawdust"?
Absolutely hilarious.

Haven't seen it for years, but Fields was brilliant. Funnier than most of his later talkies.

6. Godfrey Daniel!
Ahhh yesssss.
W.C. was one funny guy.
Started in vaudeville as a "comic juggler". I particularly like his pool shooting scenes.
Ed McMahon did a pretty good W.C. on the old Carson show.
