No, I mean it -- stop talking, be quiet, stay silent. The way those "adults" behaved yesterday was literally a bruise (or two or three) on the game, and who-did-what-to-who doesn't mean jack shit.

Beanings. Threats. Posturing. Charging. Fights. In a LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES. The players and fans should be ashamed...because the rest of us are ashamed of you. Now go stand in the corner. :D

Meanwhile, the Cubs and Marlins have had much more competitive baseball with nothing but class. The Marlins can pretty much see the writing on the wall now, but I guarantee you won't see them bitching or threatening anyone about it.

I think I and the rest of America will take that much more pleasure in watching the Cubs defeat whichever bunch of whining children comes out of the ALCS.

5. Were you just saving yourselves in June when we kicked Yankee arse
I mean, you seem pretty confident that the Yanks can take the Cubs, even though they lost the regular season series to my Cubs BEFORE we picked up Simon, Ramirez, and Lofton.
I'll be knocking back beers at the Cubby Bear, ready to rush the street when the Cubs win the World Series, and you can go get a shitty New York style pizza on your way home after you lose.

4. Just take care of business
and get yourselves situated in New York for the World Series.

If it's any help, I know a great place in Brooklyn that sells cork in bulk ... I know that Sammy may be too busy to collect all of the champagne corks after the Cubbies win the NLCS.
