1. This might be great to post out in GD...because of Media Control....but
OTOH, since I'm your only reply, maybe no one is interested.

I'm interested. I think it's changed so much and music is fragmented but controlled to be that way.

I don't think much serious discussion gets done in the Lounge, though. People come here to relax.

Maybe in the "Meeting Room," here on DU.

I wonder why there isn't any popular music that appeals to everyone.....that we all can appreciate that crosses age and ethnic or whatever barriers.

Maybe we are so culturally diversified today, there just isn't anything. But, the control of the Corporations also might have more to do with that than we think. They "TARGET" just to specific audiences to pump numbers rather than doing Cross promotions or airings......

I don't know....just blithering here. :shrug:
