My cat HATES toilet paper.

I don't know why, but he absolutely cannot tolerate having it around. He destroys it as soon as he finds it. I have to constantly find new hiding places. It has become a game for him that he enjoys more than anything else in life other than food.

While watching the game, he secretively destroyed every roll I have. My bathroom, kitchen and dining room are covered with little pieces of toilet paper.

I don't know what happened, maybe if fell over on him or something (it stores upright) but I've noticed whenever I bring it out, Clancy ping-pongs around the room wild-eyed and hides. Poor thang.

But also aluminum foil - three out of my four cats are TERRIFIED of foil.

My cats have always loved tinfoil. THe love what we call "crumplies", any time of 'paper/foil' that makes noise

20. I know, it's weird

I thought at first it was just the sound of me ripping it out of the package, but then a friend told me to bunch it up into a ball for them to play with. They're even afraid of *that* - one of them sat under the chair and hissed at it until I got rid of it! Weird...

5. One of my cats loves toilet paper, she eats it. That and Kleenex

Who knows why. She gnaws at the TP on the roll, we have to keep the door closed.

She also goes for Kleenex and eats the sheet that's sticking out and after eating that she'll pull the next one(s) out.

Then, of course, we find the evidence in the litter pan - as if we hadn't already found the gnawed remnants of the TP and Kleenex.

I have to hide them both. She tears them up in little bits, and
and leaves torn up TP/kleenex spit balls around. As she's gotten
elderly she also barfs them up (a lovely sight first thing in the
morning!) Thats why the TP and kleenex live in the cupboard :-)

6. My cats hate an un-pissed upon rug...thank god I have wood floors

because my bathroom rug needs to be slung across the tub to keep the cats from pissing on said rug...and any other rug laid out before them? Their litter is perfectly clean...but I think they do not like to mix piss and each wants their own corner of the said rug...:grr::bounce::grr:

12. I can identify with that

Maybe our cats are related? Right now, they are doing the 'good kitty' thing, including the eldest one. But, when Mom brings 'Uncle Putzin' home for a visit, they go bloody NUTS!. All of a sudden, I find pee on the carpet and throw rugs, and poop in the dining room (hidden in the corner, where they seem to think Dad won't find it). When Mom and 'Uncle Putzin' return to Louisiana, my three go back to being 'good kitty' again.:grr: :nuke: :grr:

Easy way to clear our cat out of a room - pick up a plastic carrier bag, and rustle it whilst advancing towards the cat - gone! And it hates carpets and wallpaper, of course

21. You're lucky earthman, mine go searching for them

Michigan and Isabel go on the prowl for those bags, they zip through the house with the bag handles attached somewhere on their bodies while the other pounces! What a game! I laugh sometimes til I have tears in my eyes.

But they are both into shredding up (literally) my bathmat and now my shower curtain! I could clobber them. Isabel taught Michigan this trick.

Isabel loves to toilet paper the house too! She is so full of innocent-faced mischief that I can't get mad at her. Our third kitty-baby, Red, the old man just sleeps on a pillow underneath my desk.

16. My cats love the running sink while I am in the bathroom..but the flushed

toilet when I am not available...I know cause their paw prints are on the inside of the toilet!! They THINK they are sneeky...well, I am sneekier than they...and go to bed and forgedaboudit! See how sneeky I am?

14. Hates to be mover one inch. Both are the same.

I also have a new cat. Male all black, long hair. Came in from my landlords house next door.They do not mind as they have 5 more over there.We also have a new horse to watch. The two pet horses will like this one. It is a year and a half draft pony. Very pretty.It is a nice home for animals. I also live with 3 newfoundland dogs, my small dog and 2 very pretty birds. It is two homes just stuffed full of animals and children.

and go multi-species bowling. I've reached a point where I can't put the TP on the rolls any more or she'll unroll the whole thing in one, long piece, dragging it across the entire house. My cat doesn't like anything except for kitty litter, nylon rope and fresh catnip.
