My boss was featured in a Subway commercial!!!

The head football coach of the NDSU Bison, Craig Bohl, was featured alongside UND Sioux football coach Dale Lennon in a regional Subway commercial to promote the upcoming Nickel Bowl (NDSU/UND) game on Saturday. The boss looked pretty good on TV. The commercial was basically Bohl and Lennon promoting their preferred sandwiches side-by-side on a split screen, with the boss and Lennon in different Subways, taking jabs at each other (It's a intra-regional rivalry)

Bohl preferred the buffalo chicken sandwich, "Because I like the 'buffalo' in the name!", and Lennon preferred the sweet onion teriyaki sandwich, probably because UND is a bunch of yuppie freaks.:-)

I liked how Coach Bohl was able to get a couple more jabs into Lennon than vise-versa, and how he said "Free sandwiches for all of Fargo after we win on saturday!!"

I gotta congradulate him tomorrow!!!! He looked awesome!!

4. I lived with a guy

who lost a ton of weight with Weight Watchers, got to be in a commercial standing next to his old pants or something.

I gotta tell ya, I didn't much care for the guy. Losing a ton of weight does not a good person make, say I. Plus, lord help me, he never bought new underwear to go with his new physique, so he looked as silly as you can imagine wandering around the apartment in saggy BVDs.

...he's on there to promote an upcoming football game. Both coaches have always been average size.
