What happened at FR?

Last week Monday my cable modem melted down, took until Friday for "service" to come out and install a new one, and I could get all the software working again. :mad:

So I was off-line when the you-know-what hit the fan with Rush and his doping.

I saw a couple things mentioned about the Freepers.

First, is Rush's problem a non-subject over there, and mentioning it gets yanked?

Second, what's going on with RimJob and the funding for FR?

1. By the numbers:

1. Yup. RimJob is yanking the Rush threads. I guess Freakland is actually "Only-So-FreeRepublic, at least as Free as RimJob will allow".

2. Something is up between RimJob and his usual pack of critics, as regards fundraising. The best I could decode from LibertyForum is that someone has a "bombshell" he or she is gonna drop about the whole thing.

They are just cuter than a box full of puppies when they get like this. ;-)

2. and 3. Perfectly okay to condemn Morton Downey Jr. to jail for life

for HIS drug problems.

Gotta love their ability to stay on target and not be hypocritical fartblowing weenie wastes.

5. I trolled FR and found some threads asking why any "anti-Rush"

threads were being pulled. Oh yeah, don't criticize Rush. Blame his doctor (yeah, these fools actually believe that Rush was like Elvis getting prescriptions). Blame the filthy housekeeper. Blame whomever was "pushing" these drugs on poor Rush.
