Poll question: Parents, do you like one of your kids better than the other(s)

For my 700th post, thought I would take off on MagicRat's parents poll. So, is there one of the kids that you like more than the other? I know I always tell my kids when they ask why one kid gets to do something and the other can't that its because "Your mother and I like _____ better than we like you" I think its good for their reality testing and if it doesn't force them into therapy will at least make them stronger.

2. A different sort of answer:

I am my parents' absolute favorite child. Ignore the fact that I am their ONLY child (as me and my ego have)! :D

I do indeed have equal affection for each and every one of them.

And that holds true even now that he's 16.

6. My daughter is my favorite

and only child. ;-)

She'll be 29 in a couple of days - which is terribly hard to imagine. I was 18 when I learned the Pill was only 99% effective. Fortunately she'll turn 30 before I hit 50. That would be quite traumatic.

7. I Love them all equally, liking them is another matter at times

Oldest daughter is the most consistent, with the other two girls close behind, but they are a number of years younger. Son, love him, but he is going through the macho, only the best for me, women are only good for one thing stage. Sheeeeeesh! He is a good kid, though, and will learn (or I might have to forcibly cut down to three children!)

8. i voted 'other'

just to be precocious....but until you've almost lost the children you love, and fought to gain back your life with them, then any fault you may see in any one of them, will disappear without a trace. They are not perfect, but at least we are together still.

of course, now that they are almost adults, yeah, they piss me off equally too...damn stubborn and headstrong. I wonder where they got that?
