I have tons of songs he and Paul Shanklin did that I've downloaded over the past 2 or 3 years for cheap laughs. I knew they were wrong, but still...

I'm trying to prove to someone (a self-proclaimed socialist no less!) that Rush Limbaugh is a homophobe, and I accidentally run into this place. I look around, and it's love at first site.

Without this place...

I wouldn't have found the Senate Simulation.

I wouldn't have swung to the far-left (on the Canadian spectrum) and become a New Democrat.

I'd continue puting aside my disdain for Bush, which I did on September 11.

I'd be far less cynical and far more trusting of the right, even though I'd still strongly disagree on social issues and somewhat on economic ones.

1. I love FR

I clicked a buzzflash link to FR one day where they were getting on a lurker and told him to go back to DU. I had no idea what that meant and the lurker professed ignorance as well. Thank goodness some freeper in a later post explained it was democraticunderground.com.

I immediately checked it out and was blown away that there was a place for me finally.

say anything positive about Rush or FR or republicans. They are all evil all the time without exception and can not even indirectly aid anyone in any positive democratic or generally good endeavor!!!!

4. What positive thing can you say about Rush?

Just curious.....I have respect for a number of Republicans and there are some intelligent posters at FR...but I cannot devine anything good that comes from the mouth of Rush. In fact, I think he has done more to damage our political discourse than any other person I know.
