Poll question: What Is Your Favorite Paul McCartney Song...
I don't know if he's my favorite Beatle but he's the only Beatle I got to see live-four times...

I saw him at Joe Robbie and RFK Stadium in 90 and the Citrus Bowl and Blocbuster Stadium in Charlotte in 93...

The RFK concert rocked... It was on the Fourth of July...Times were great then even though there was a * in the White House...

I think McCartney made some great pop rock music in the 70's.... I think Band On The Run stands up favorably against any post Beatles work....

Here it goes....

Only post Beatle stuff

20. Let It Be
I know the thread starter said "only post Beatles" but I couldn't resist. Although you can't tell on the studio tracks, Linda's voice on the live stuff just grates on my nerves.

Speaking words of wisdom, Let It Be is probably one of the top 5 Beatles songs of all. A stable full of Benedictine Monks couldn't have chanted a more inspirational musical passage. Guarnteed to send chills down your spine.

15. You Forgot
Why Don't We Do It The Road....

I remember a Rolling Stone interview with McCartney in 90 where he said he didn't like to be seen as the "staid" Beatle...

He was saying how he was going to the London clubs listening to Hendrix way before Hendrix came to be vogue...

11. Young Boy
An underrated song.

Also "Freedom", which is more pertinent now than it was in late 2001.
