I Am So F*CKING Tired!
yes, it is partially the 5 hours it took to drive home from Maine - normally it takes 2 1/2 (btw, WAY TO GO MTA workers! it was absolutely f*cking BRILLIANT to continue work on the turnpike- taking 4 lanes down to 2 on Columbus Day weekend! :eyes:)

but politics period. THREE days off fishing and relaxing on the deck overlooking CASCO Bay and I am STILL exhausted!

Can't quit though.
NO F'ING WAY
Guess I'll rest (or collapse) at the end of November '04.

*SIGH*

hold me up. WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE HOLD ME UP??

peace.

11. Aw, you were up here?
We should have a DU get-together in Maine sometime.

Thank you for spending your money here. We need the tax revenues. :)

Now get some sleep...after the game.

17. Me too.
Midterms and a weekend with two regattas don't mix well. I was up for 21 straight hours yesterday... I thought that was bad...

10AM Saturday? Dude, that's more than 48 hours. I think you die if you're up for much longer than that... It'll be over soon though!

18. my longest was 63 hours straight
so I've still got a ways to go. But if I stay up all night I'll be hallucinating tomorrow.

Add to that I slept no more than 3 hours all last week and

Regatta's for what boat? Crew? 21 hours is nothing to sneeze at. Hope you get some rest

16. we could all use some pyschic healing...
Seeing a bad actor with no government experience,
a penchant for assaulting the weak, a liar who
didn't have total recall about what he did or said
get "elected" by a minority of registered voters
mainly because registered voters wanted the other
guy out is really hard to take.

20. Vacation is bad for your health
I always find that after a week off I am more exhausted than before I left. See, you think you are going to relax and unwind, but you find that there is just too much tension built up to accomplish true decompression. Just as you are starting to really unwind, it's time to come home. Truthfully, we would need about the same period of time this shit (meaning the Bushwads) have been turning our screw, to truly recover our sanity.

But, back to the inevitable adrenaline grind of daily life.

Of course, a PrincessRamsey special massage is guaranteed to take years off your senescence

22. I hear ya....
For me it's all about these baseball games that don't start until almost 8:30.

In a Boston-NY series, there's no reason to start a game that late. First pitch should be thrown at 7:05.
