Eating Disorders - it's not just about UNDER eating
I've come to a dreadful realization this past weekend. I'm a compulsive overeater. I am addicted to food.

I'm trying to find information on treatment but most of the information I find on eating disorders concerns bulimics and anorexics.

Does anyone have any info about where one might find help for this?

Obviously, it's not like other substance abuse. One cannot simply NOT eat.

2. You might try Yahoogroups.
If you don't already belong, you'll probably have to register. A fellow listmember at another Yahoogroup I'm on participates in a food addiction group there. I'm not sure if this is the one, but this link will pull up a description of the group:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OvereatersSupportGroup/

Sounds like a good place for information. Most of these groups are moderated, so you don't have to deal with trolls coming in to bash.
