Another Windows Network Admin question.

Anybody know how I can hack an admin privalege into an XP system on a LAN network? Is there something inherent in XP that allows for a backdoor for admin rights? I know that on NT you could do something with a Win98 installation CD that could fool the OS into granting admin access but I've never heard of anything like that with XP.

Any thoughts?

1. Stop trying to hack

Get your friendly neighbourhood systems administrator to do what needs to be done.

2. It's easy if you have physcial access

Use the NT Offline registry editor.

From the network is a bit more difficult.

3. Just make sure the network admin is a friend from highschool

that's what I did, now I have all the admin rights I need. =).

Not sure if this is exactly what you need. Physical access is always key.
