Done before but...what's your Nickname?
Edited on Wed Oct-15-03 10:20 PM by HEyHEY
They Call me Nutter....or George, as in George Kastansza... it would seem as though my friends think I scheme too much, in Kastanza type ways.

It all started when we had to go out for lunch with people we didn't like, I said "There's gotta be a way we can sit with them...but not WITH THEM ...You know?" My buddy looked at me and said, "Okay Kastanza" and started laughing

Nutter goes back to age 8 when my buddy's dad used to call me that.

6. When I was young.....
my best friend's dad always called me Moonbeam. This is a lengthened version of my last name. My nickname now is just "Chris". Kind of boring I guess.

Christina

14. I've had a few
When I was a young teen, I was called Bart by my friends. I have no clue how that happened. On many occasions I've been "B". When I played basketball I was called Swat, after a game when I finished with 17 blocked shots. At my last job, I was princess, that was because a really cute waitress referred to me as that when taking my order when we were out of town late one night. (the instant she uttered that word, I knew it was gonna stick with me until I left that job)

And now at my current job, they call me F1. I drive a delivery van, I'm sure you can figure out why I got that nickname.

15. I am a cause of nicknames in others
I'm the one who stuck leftist_rebel with "Little Bit" (which he seems to like) and Will Pitt with "doll-baby" (for which he may never forgive me).

17. Chocolate Layer Cake and Mr. Football
A New York sportswriter who used to visit Las Vegas and quote me in his columns had a creative nickname for everyone. Mine was "Chocolate Layer Cake." No idea what that meant, especially since I'm as white as a dimpled Titleist. Some of my friends have shortened that to "Layer Cake" or "Chocolate" or "CLC"

I have used decades of data to develop reliable systems for wagering on football, so some of my sportsbook friends call me "Mr. Football." Likewise, that is sometimes shortened to "Mr. Foot" or "Foots"

18. Coworkers call me "Dubya"
Because:

1) There are 4 people with my first name on the trading floor.

2) My last name begins with a "w", and is very long.

3) They think it irks me a bit. It doesn't.

20. Woofless
southern bastardization of Worthless. While working as a second roadie for a R&B band in FL during college. Schlepping a Hammond B-3 and all those amps and speakers. The Mgr. caught me bustin' a doob in the van one day and said "Man, you jes' Woofless." It has stuck lo these 30 years.

It's some kind of pokemon (sigh), that eats 300 kg's of food and then goes to sleep for a couple of days.

I do take a lot of weed naps...

I guess I get the munchies, from time to time...

I've forbidden friends to use it though, after someone thought the nickname was given to me because of my snorting habit.
