5. Pudge I worry about

I hope he can come to an agreement. First, Loria has to show a committment to winning. He showed it this year by not trading Lowell midseason to the Cubs. Pudge is making $10 million this year. He's in his 30's, so he'll want to get paid. He entered this year as a run of the mill catcher, and will now ascend to his previous status as elite catcher.

9. The park is ok

It really is a shame that they couldn't do something like Camden Yards. They could have, because the architects for Comiskey were the same for Camden Yards. Also, I cannot understand why they didn't situate home plate so that it faced the skyline. What a waste. Sox did allright this year. They should have won the division. it was the weakest in baseball. Getting rid of Manuel was a fruitful first step. They are fairly strong up the middle, bit their catching leaves something left to be desired. If they can keep Colon and Alomar at short, they have a fighting chance next year.

I mean really cozy so the 15,000 fans who come to their games aren't scattered around a football stadium cum lemonade stand?

The Braves and Marlins couldn't sell out their post-season games (much kudos to the many Cub fans who gladly attended the Cubbbie-away games).

Wrigley sells out all the time. A monday day game hosting the Brewers in April? Sell-out. (Shmaybe some scattered tix).

Lotsa luck to the National League Baseball-Playing-Marlins. It's probable they will sell out their two, maybe three World Series games they'll host.
