3. Temple coach Bobby Wallace has had a great strategy for this game

He has deliberately brought Temple into this contest with a losing record. His loss in week 2 to a division II team was a masterstroke. He is lulling Miami into a false sense of security! Once he goes in and beats Miami, is a bowl game that far behind?

...the D-II loss IS masterful; if you're going to lose, lose one of those games. ;-)

for the top 4 big east teams, if a big east team happens to go to the NC then it is extended to top 5, if the 6th team has a good record or in the top 25, that team may get an At-large bid.

Their losing record is part of a strategy. In fact, they've had losing records for the past fifteen years - that's how dedicated to this strategy they've been. Call me when your team shows that kind of commitment.
