Sports Headline--October 1, 2003: "Cubs Bury 58-year-old Jinx"
Maybe a little too premature?

I'm not gloating, I was rooting for the Cubs.

I found this paper at the gym today--saw Wednesday, so I figured it was yesterday's, and then began reading and said.."What the..."

Not sure why a two-week old newspaper was hanging around.

Just goes to show you that journalists--including sports writers--don't have a friggin' clue about anything!!!!!!!!

1. One to win a playoff series (they did against Atlanta)

2. One to win the penant (Oops)

3. One to win the World Series (See #2)
