what an epic battle last night
the game could have gone either way, and I felt that the Bosox had ther chance to make history...and just did fall short. BUT, with WillPitt dissing the Mac like he did...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!

My boy Matsui had that clutch hit, and had it not been for the fans, he might have hit the winning rbi--but he scored anyway.

I promised my friend from NY I wouldn't cause her anymore heartburn and pain by rooting for the other team (like I did these past 3 years) But looking ahead...Florida's one dangerous team, do NOT underestimate them. AND, with all the extra pitching the Yankees have had to do, do they have enough left in the tank?

5. I won't be watching either, but I believe Florida will win
After seeing the last out in their series with SF, I knew they had something.

True, nobody's gonna care, though.

Probably the least interesting match-up out of all the possibilities.

2. Maybe eventually I'll be able to see that
I still feel like I've been kicked in the stomach.

This is not fun.

It's only a game...it's only a game...it's only a game.

4. Sox fans, i feel for you
Little just screwed up, evven I knew he should have taken Pedro out after getting that first out in the 8t. This is gonna hurt you guys quite alot, BUT the Bosox will be back. It IS only a game, and you'll be fine.

BTW, I only wish all the heartache could be felt just by WillPitt.

6. I don't think anyone..................

is going to underestimate the Marlins or they shouldn't anyway.......they've already put away Giants and Cubs, both favorites in those series........The Marlins are on a roll.....they're getting great pitching, they have good young players playing hard, they are hungry and they got I-Rod .......i'm a big fan of his but I hope he doesn't kill the Yanks..........

7. Matsui Was A ROCK This Whole Series
Edited on Fri Oct-17-03 09:01 AM by Beetwasher
He had several clutch hits...He's becoming my favorite Yankee! And it has nothing to do with the fact that my GF is Japanese and he's HER favorite, so STOP SAYING THAT!!!

And Giambi, THANK YOU FOR COMING OUT OF YOUR FUCKING COMA!

8. It was -- and I hardly even care about sports
But my boss is a huge Sox fan so I was rooting for her (her dog is named Fenway). I have to admit it was exciting.
