ew.... cat snot
My kitten is sleeping on my shoulder. She's getting over a bad cold. She just sneezed on my neck. EWWWWW.

5. thanks...
she's gettin' better. Today she's running around like a normal kitten, then falling into a deep sleep in about 2 seconds... a normal kitten.

She's also practicing her hunting. She's killed two tissues and a piece of cellophane today.

3. When we adopted Sam
Edited on Fri Oct-17-03 06:04 PM by jumptheshadow
My partner found our cat Sam, who was temporarily blinded by an eye infection and was weaving in and out of traffic on a busy street in Brooklyn. He was only about five weeks old. The poor little creature had pneumonia, ear mites, fleas and worms. She nursed him lovingly, gently washed his face and ears, administered many types of medicine on a rigid schedule, and pulled worms from unmentionable places.

After a week he had recuperated enough to scamper around the house. But he still came to my partner for his nursing. Whenever he felt a sneeze coming on he would motor over to her, sit in her lap, look up at her and go ha-choo right in her face. We still laugh about it to this day.

4. lol
I had an old cat who used to do something similar. Whenever he needed to sneeze, he would come over to me and sneeze on my leg.

I have no idea why.

6. I know I have told this story before...
But here goes...My money cat Tumona is allergic to.....cat hair. This is what the vet diagnosed. There is nothing we can do about it. She likes warm things and likes to sleep on my laptop keyboard. One night while atop my laptop she let go a sneeze as well as a huge snot and the liquid fried the circuit board of my keyboard.
Cat: free stray
Keyboard replacement: $135
Story: Priceless.

that's what they said at the pound. I think she may be a wee bit younger, though.

11. What does she look like?
And what is her initial personality? I have four, very different looks, very different behavirors. What do you think she will be like when she grows up?

13. she looks like this:

And she's a total sweetheart. A real snuggler. She's not shy around anybody. She also sticks up for herself around my two other cats. Yep, she's a keeper.

10. It Could Be Worse
My cat likes to sleep in bed next to my head. I've gotten some nasal saliva myself.
