3. No, but maybe I'll get my photo taken with him tomorrow...
...since he's working with me all day.

Great guy, and shares my enthusiasm for tea.

5. I saw him at one of those ST conventions once. :)
I've been to three that I can remember.

Saw:

Convention 1: George Takei

Convention 2: William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForrest Kelley

Convention 3: Jonathan Frakes, Terri Farrell

10. I've heard that George Takei is nice
Is that true?

Many of the original cast have had a hard time dealing with the aftermath of Trek enthusiasts and the fact that they were typecast.

I have been to many sci fi conventions (most of them for Dr Who) and "met" Leonard Nimoy...I say "met" because it was in an autograph line and that's not really meeting someone.

13. He actually brought it up...
I got in a shuttle van with him to go to set, and he told the driver to "take us to warp factor four" because he was late for breakfast.

He's appearing in a TV series I'm working on, but I can't say which one because there's a confidentiality/security agreement in place until the season is completed.

However, I can tell you that I have convinced the director to do one shot for the blooper reel, where one of the cameras will tilt, and all the cast and crew in the shot will rock back and forth with the camera angle, a la 'Enterprise Collision" effect.
