Des Moines - Bush-Cheney '04 announced on Friday its top campaign leadership team for the state of Iowa with National Campaign Manager Ken Mehlman and supporters from throughout the state of Iowa. The Bush-Cheney '04 Iowa Leadership Team will help build a network of grassroots support and serve as messengers for the President's re-election campaign.
"Our statewide leadership team is made up of a diverse group of men and women with a great understanding of both President Bush's compassionate conservative agenda and common sense policies that have a positive impact on the people of Iowa. They will play a key role in President Bush's re-election efforts in this state," said David Roederer. Roederer will serve as Chairman of the Bush-Cheney '04 Iowa Leadership Team.

The President's strong leadership and common sense agenda resonate with the people of Iowa and he enjoys great support here," said Maria Nesbit, a homemaker from Des Moines who is serving as a Vice-Chair of the Bush-Cheney '04 Iowa Leadership Team.
