Anyone seen the Green Flash at Sunset?

And, all of you who have seen the green flash, have you ever been able to photograph it? Or have you had my luck? Although I have seen the green flash twice, it was never on an occasion when I had my camera ready to photograph it.

Seriously, never saw or heard of a green flash and have watched many a sunset. I'm reading the linked article now.

Never seen anything remotely like it in the Midwest, nor did I see it when I was in California.

5. I've seen it twice

The second time was real and the first time was Memorex.

The flash can be captured on video even if you cannot see it. So says a friend of my late father. His tape was the first time I saw the flash. We played it several times while Dad was alive.

Every time I think about the flash, I think of John D. MacDonald and his "Flash of Green."

I try to hit the beach on clear nights to make a wish. You never know when you might catch the flash of green.

"Green Flash" but I lived on Kauai for six years and a friend of mine said she saw it and I had never even heard of it.

9. Only once

off of Key West on a sailboat after a late afternoon snorkel trip to the coral reefs. I had heard about it previously and knew what to look for, otherwise I would have missed it.
