Back from the "Deathbed of Democracy"....Didja miss me?

Doesn't seem like it.

Spent the last week in DC at a training seminar.
The "City Buffet" was a nice place if you like Asian buffets.(ate there twice)
"Rumours'" cook (I won't call him a "chef") needs to learn what "Medium RARE" is, and that it takes more than a layer of greasy breaded fried onion "strings" to hide it...

"Internet in your room, on your TV-Only $9.95" SUCKS! (I don't owna notebook, so I didn't checkout the free "T-1")

Saw most of the monuments, blew a blister on my left foot the size of a nickel...

My co-workers got to see the Chimp's motorcade, I didn't...

Glad to be back in Corn Country!

I did wonder where you were. Saw a guy riding around my neighborhood the other day on a recumbent bike, while I was walking the dog, and wondered why I hadn't seen you posting.

Hubby occasionally has to go to DC for work-related stuff. He's not much fond of it, either.

And tomorrow, weather willing, I'll get a ride in on a REAL bike, not some thing in an airless room in the basement...
