I have no way to confirm its truthfulness other than naked eye observation, but there is a rumor that everyone who is hired as on-camera talent is sent to a particular dentist, who has a CNN teeth template, and if their teeth are bad, they are replaced completely according to the template, if good, they are capped, again according to the template.

Again, I don't know if it's true, but it can't hurt to spread it, anyway.
