Did anybody here watch Deadwood on HBO tonight?

I watched it for the first time, so I don't know any of the characters names. Anyway, this guy walked into a brothel and wanted to meet one of the girls in a private room. Then he came out and wanted to see one of the other girls in the room.

Then, my husband decided to see what else was on. After flipping through he determined that we would go ahead and watch Deadwood, afterall.

By the time he got back, the guy had just finished killing both of the girls, but I missed that part so I couldn't figure out why he did it.

Does anyone else know??

and a psycho. The first girl, Doris, was a spy for Tolliver and because Tolliver found out about Wolcott's proclivities he cut her throat. The others had to go because they were witnesses.

What about the guy with the grey hair who went to the brothel to see what was going on and found the girls dead? I figured he was going to kick the psycho's ass or something but he just told him to leave. Who is he (the grey haired guy)? Is he a leader of some kind? Is he a good guy or a bad guy?

5. Interesting show.

At first I thought it was kind of wierd but by the time it was over I was kind of interested in seeing more of it and figuring out who everyone is.

Seriously I have seen the first season unfortunately I only get to watch shows like Deadwood when they make it to DVD for lack of HBO, but I remember there was crazy bird man guy that was dubbed "the tit licker"
