Emma Goldman is dead.

Vilified by many, esteemed by some, but nonetheless dead.

Right?

Well, I don't think so.

There are some great souls who will always be remembered, no matter the circumstances of their deaths.

Hypatia was one.

Emma Goldman was another.

And anyone reading the threads on Andrea Dworkin's passing, can see that here was another great soul.

There are many. You can vilify if you choose, you can show respect if you have any. But you cannot change the fact of greatness.

This is not the greatness and glory of patriarchy, which resides in how much you can loot and how many millions you can kill. This is the greatness of mind and soul which transcends death. You can hate it, you can desecrate it, you can kill it, but it never dies, because, you can't really touch it. Emma Goldman never died. Hypatia never died.

Andrea Dworkin, presente!
