Sorry, it's mostly sensationalism theatre, doesn't even come close to adhering to the principles of good theatre or Sophocles' thoughts. And I hate Frank Wildhorn, his music is pretentious and overly-melodramadic, even worse than Toto. The only decent show he wrote that wasn't crap was Scarlet Pimpernal and it wasn't that great. Sorry to offend you, but it's popular entertainment at it's worst, though it is highly popular and can sell seats like no one's business. After the rights came about two years ago, it's taken off like fire through the regional/college production venues.
I'm sure the company did a good job, but I just fail to see any redeeming qualities of this work. Though, I am partial to "This is the Moment" (one guilty pleasure ;) )
