No, but seriously, I'm sure their sales are REALLY dropping because people don't want to buy stuff at their stores, because their commercials are the absolute WORST ads to come out on television since, well... EVER.

Being female and near 40, I've had my trial and tribulations trying to find pants that FIT! Argh!

For the first time in my life, I can count on pants in one size (ok - its size 8) to fit. They're the only clothes I buy online. I'm considering buying their stock.

I do have some problems with their clothing made overseas, however...Still, I would pay double what I'm paying now if Old Navy's product were made stateside.

9. I'm a former Old Navy shopper...

And I used to like their stuff, and didn't find their commercials too objectionable. I REALLY hate their current commercial for painter's pants, though. It's just so irritating.

Anyway, I've switched to J.C. Penney. I've gotten much better deals (3 t-shirts, a pair of cargo pants, and a package of socks for $47) from them. You just have to know where to look in the story.

And from jcpenney.com, I ordered an EXCELLENT full leather trench coat for ~$120. I compared it to the coats at the Leather Limited (the only leather store at the mall, unfortunately), and my coat was both cheaper and far better made.

and it was "Standin" on the Corner" (watching all the girls)

which was kind of risque back then.

Fuck Old Navy, I hope they burn in advertising Hell.

The damn commercial is on every fucking break during the world series/playoffs. With baseball, you only get like 1 minute of a break and if you go take a piss or get a beer/food, you chance missing the first few pitchs or a game-winning homerun, so you're kinda forced to sit through the commercials.

I have shopped there years ago only on desperation and before it got shitty with the horrific ad campaigns.

I boycott them and all their stupid stores (Gap, Limited) out of plain respect for myself and the homogeneous society they promote.

Fuck Old Navy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can only hope karma strikes down those who shop there and their complictcy with the worst ads ever!!!!!
