They kind of look like my white ferret. Are your rats deaf? I heard that lots of animals with the albino gene are deaf. My ferret is deaf and he has the albino gene, and I know about white cats with blue eyes, but what about white rats?

A young man who used to work in the kitchen where I waited tables left town, and periodically writes to tell us about things. He named his rats after the waitstaff, and to my delight over the years all of them have died except Robb the Rat.
