2. I recommend trading Little for Fassel
It will have to help both teams. Little has to know more football than Fassel and Fassel has to know more baseball than Little.

3. Yeah, but how do we get rid of Tyrone Harrington at ND?????
A decent coach who would be ok at a smaller school, and might even be better if the powers that be at ND cared at all about football anymore!

8. Oh, you mean the Utah coach, don't you? I think what's-his-name,
the Tampa Bay coach would have been perfect.

He sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo wants to coach there, and they didn't ask him because they feared he might actually turn the program around.

His alarm clock wakes him up each morning with the ND fight song!

4. I've had it with my football pool
Every week I make a brilliant prediction, like New England over Miami, only to be undone by teams like Baltimore and Cleveland. Next week I'm putting my sheet on the wall and throwing darts.

5. My brother is diehard R. Sox fan, now in Chicago, likes Cubs, too...
Imagine being a life-long Red Sox fan, having relocated to Chicago a few years ago, and beginning to like the Cubs...

Can you imagine his week? :argh:

Need I say more.

6. Try being me last fall in terms of being a football fan...
Edited on Sun Oct-19-03 05:29 PM by northwest
My high school team (I was still working for them) crapped it up with a 2-8 record.

My college team (the NDSU Bison) also crapped it up with a 2-9 record...

And the Vikings finished up strong, but still had a dismal 6-10 record.

I was getting ready to stop watching football after that, but things turned around this year...

My high school team has an improved 3-5 record and are about to play a playoff game AT HOME,

The Bison are a solid 5-2, 3-1 in the conference.

And the Vikings are UNDEFEATED 6-0!!!!!!!!

This is my payback for last year.;-)

9. I'm a Giants Fan, Too
The Raiders are my second team. The Jets are my third. The Bengals are my fourth.

I was rooting for both the Cubs and the Red Sox in the playoffs.

I am also a fan of Maryland football, who started the season with back-to-back losses to Northern Illinois and Florida State.

Just not that good a year.

13. Become a fan of the OU Sooners and then you can enjoy sports again
The Sooners are 7-0, have an outstanding offense, defense, special teams play and a great coach. They have a great chance of playing for the national championship, provided their QB stays healthy.

Boooooooomer Sooooooooooner!!!!!!!
