Any "Alias" fans
I like the show, but this season has my head spinning.

1. I'm not impressed with this season so far.
If it turns out the Rimbaldi device really did just spell out "peace" I'm going to be really really pissed. Not to mention that the chemistry is all messed up this season.

My 2 cents worth. :)

destroy their storylines and try to come up with new ones on the fly.

3. It should have been in the genre of "La Femme Nikita".
They started out with Sidney working for a spy agency she doesn't agree with but must work with and a mysterious and dangerous mother. It was a good premise. But apparently they have crappy and unimaginative writers so it's turned into a wierd kind of soap opera. They lost the tension from the first season by taking away the threat of the bad guys and are now doing contrived story lines to maintain interest.

4. What Clete said!
You nailed it! Why is it so hard for these guys to just leave a good show alone? Every time I get to like a show it either gets cancelled or screwed up. I hardly even care when the new TV season comes on anymore. DU's much more entertaining! :)

5. Alias
I just began watching last week so I can't compare to last season, but I like MI-5 better.
I was intrigued by Alias after Ms Plame was compared to her by her husband.

6. They have changed the whole story line
and I think it sucks. I agree, they are writing as they go. Last season was good and I was looking foward to how they would end the season. Sad to say it was a let-down. Syd loses 2 years of her life! What a huge disappointment. The first season was the best IMO.

7. Not giving up yet- Proves a point
Season one cannot be topped. Season 2 was good- the Syd - Vaughn romance needed to die to save the show from the typical "marry off the 2 main characters- show sucks syndrome".

This season- you're not sure what's going on yet, and I like it that way- you're not stuck knowing that there's only one way for it to end. It shows there's a lot more that can happen with this show- and it's got more life left. People were concerned after the demise of SD6 that there was nothing left- now we have:

* Syd's 2 missing years- How ? Why ? And who the hell is Julia ?
* Vaughn's wife and the NSC
* What is The Covenent ? How does Sark connect ?

and much much more.

Relax fellow Alias fans, the best is yet to come.

8. my thoughts
and I have no idea, just guessing.

1: Something else came from Rimbaldi, Sloan's working an angle. easy as pie.

2: Vaughn's wife is working for Sloan.

3: Sark is a mercenary. He's only working for the Covenant because they're the latest thing.

4: who is the Covenant? that'a anyone's guess.

5: Sidney had a child while missing. Her mother is in possession of this child. although she may or may not have had anything to do with her dissapearence.

6: Sidney is not, in fact, Julia. The same technology used to create Francie's double was used on Sidney while she was missing.

we shall see.

10. good guessing
I agree--Sark is a mercenary and Vaughn's wife is working for Sloan. I also think Sloan was "bought off" by her senator dad. I do miss syd's mom. I thought she added alot to the show and I liked her character.

Geeze...I need to get a life!

11. yeah, and I've got an issue
why does Vaughn's wife have a (british?) accent when she's the daughter of a US sentator? since when does the NSC have to go international for domestic analysts?

9. I haven't been
But since they changed the Sunday lineup so much, I've watched it a couple of times and I'm pretty impressed. I might get the DVDs from the first two seasons they're selling now.
