Two threads walk into a bar

The first thread asks for a beer.

The Bartender says " we don't serve your kind in here, get out!"

The second thread hears this, and quickly goes to the bathroom where he cuts himself in half, ties himself back together, and then roughs up the ends.
He then walks back over to the bar.
The bartender says, "Hey! You're not one of those threads that's been hanging around here are you?"

The thread replies, "no I'm a frayed knot!"
