1. I watched that game
It was the best thing that happened to Denver in the game (not the injury of course but the fact that he had to leave because he was obviously stinking up the place) because Danny Kanell almost orchestrated a 15 point 4th quarter comeback because Buerlien's 3 interceptions sure as hell didn't help Denver.

4. That one even grossed out the ESPN Sportscenter guys
Stuart Scott reporting on it, and in the background you can hear the other sportscaster going "Ewww! Unngg! Eeeeeeeewwww!!"

Scott says, "I told you not to look, dog!"

:)

6. LOL, that's hilarious.
I gotta hand it to ESPN, despite their boneheaded Rush signing. They really do a good job injecting humor into their sportscasts. And their commercials are some of the best on TV.

5. Still not as bad as having to watch Theisman's
broken leg over and over and over again. Geesh, that was if they wanted the entire country to toss it's collective stomach contents. After seeing that, I think the dislocated finger is a lot easier to look at.

But thanks for the warning up front!

7. I'm a Coboys fan and...
I hated Joe T but even I can't watch that replay to this day. I can remember seeing it the first time and turning off the tv because I knew they were gonna replay it over and over again.

13. Yeah, I think the knee
going backward and bending fully under the front of the body without the thigh takes the cake. I don't know if you saw the Napoleon McCallum (was that his name? Runningback for the Raiders) injury on MNF about ten years back, but, I gotta tell ya, it made we want to puke.

14. I agree- Napoleon McCallum
that was 2nd worst- next to Theismann.

Both gruesome and even worse- accompanied by SOUND :puke:

9. Oh well.
Steve Beaurlein should have retired last year and STAYED retired.

He wasn't even helping the Broncos since the Pittsburgh start.

Kanell would have been a FAR better backup than Steve would ever be.

Yes, I'm a Bronco fan, and I'm pissed that I missed the comeback, because I would have used my voodoo magic to help the Broncos tie the game.

Shanahan may be a genius, but he can be a dumbass sometimes. I think Shanahan will realize Kanell's potential now, and throw Beaurlein in the IR and hopefully let him end his career with a crash.

I can't wait for Plummer to come back. I'm PISSED as hell that the trainers completely missed the stress reaction on his foot, or he would have been treated for it and avoid a break.

Now I wonder who'll back up Kanell now. I sure hope it isn't Jarious Jackson. Now, that was a extremely bad backup, although he knows the system.

10. It will be Jarious Jackson
I have a gut feeling on this one. Kanell had one decent year and flopped most of his career, but he only has one shot to prove to the league that he can do it so he will play with alot of heart and determination and should do well. Shannahan I noticed about him sticks with his QBs, I know he stuck with Griese for four years before releasing him. I can't wait for the former Sun Devil either go Broncos! Go Devils!

16. Go Vikings! 6-0!
The nastiest live injury was Theismann. Lawrence Taylor really did a number on him.

Last year's Fiesta Bowl included Willis McGahee getting hit and having his knee bend backward. Yuck!
