Wedding at Wal-Mart seemed like the perfect fit
MISSOULA (AP) -- The nuptials of Ford Lund and Rae Bauer was strictly a company affair -- a Wal-Mart wedding.

"We met here, we work here, we bought our cake here and our rings. Wal-Mart is our family," said Lund.

Lund, 74, and Bauer, 48, met as co-workers in the garden department. Their wedding Saturday was on the lawn in front of the store. Fellow employees, granted a special break to attend, cheered and applauded when the newlyweds kissed.

Then the couple had their wedding photos taken at the store's portrait studio.

1. Walmart?
They actually like working there? I suppose they've never been locked in at night or forced to work without getting paid, or been denied a workman's comp claim, or been fired for no reason?

As for the age difference, I think once you hit 45 or so, you don't really worry about it anymore.

4. Everything in the article made me say "what?!"
Special time off to attend? Like WM gave these people a coffee break.

I just thought the whole concept was hysterical. Or sad.

3. Who is going to shaving-cream their nuptual trailer with
"Jes' Hitched!"? What did they have as a topper on the wedding cake? A barn? Where are they honeymooning? Dollywood? Exactly what shade of red are their necks?

6. You know, my husband and I met at Boeing
when we both worked there, and it never occurred to us to get married there. Why on earth would you want to get married where you work?!
