The Tide may be changing...
I was just at a local auto parts shop(not Autozone) and there were several guys in there bitching about how bush is ruining the country. A few of these guys supported the Iraq invasion and now are having second thoughts about all the B.S. that the "administration" is feeding us. Take heart fellow D.U.ers, bush is beatable. People will vote with their wallets when it comes right down to it and none of these guys were happy with the current state of affairs. They vote against bush, their spouses and children vote against bush, they inform their friends... It can be done.

1. I was one
Of the 2 people in my workplace to vote anti-bush....a whole lot of pro-bush folks are seeing reality! They run on issues of so-called morality, but fall on their asses in the light of day.

2. Here's Some More Ammo
Curious how the Right-Wing media talks up virtue but can't seem to do anything but lie, cheat and steal.

4. Yeah, real virtuous folks there...
And its all coming apart on them now. Limbaugh will never see a jail cell, Dr. Laura will continue to spew her vile poison, and Bennett can continue to lose large sums of money for all I care. Just don't preach to me about how bad drugs are, about how I should raise my kids, or how evil gambling is. People are finally starting to see the light. Now if the U.S. media will get off their collective butts and report all these misdeeds... Ah that may be asking too much.

9. It Might Be Interesting
To mention Rush and his "habit" or Laura's "family values" and why her Mom died alone. Probably the best thing anyone can do now is to get the Rethugs to question their "news" sources. Some are waking up as we speak, but there can never be too many people that know the truth and come across it on their own.

5. A friend of mine
She's been a life long republican and she said "Bush has lost my
vote and believe me, if he's lost mine, he's lost a lot of other
republican votes". Hope she's right.

7. Keep in mind how fickle people are.....
All it will take is for one negative thing about the democratic candidate shortly before the election, and one minor seemingly positive thing about bush* about the same time and the fickle fence sitters will err on the side of the devil you know.

I am convinced of this and no poll numbers or overheard conversations or temporarily grumbling conservatives or republicans will convince me otherwise. I'd love to be proven wrong, I just think all this grumbling this far before an election means absolutely zero, zilch, nada.

8. Auto Parts shop?
Awesome. Places like that are where the swing-voters are.
Encouraging.

10. I think it's remarkable
how Bush's approval ratings dropped so rapidly while America is officially engaged in a war, the war on terror. That alone speaks volumes in my opinion.

By the way, my Republican father has turned against Bush because of the Iraq mess. My sister has turned against Bush for the same reason, and has donated to Clark's campaign.

11. Welcome to DU!
Yeah, I get the feeling that if we're gonna be getting a lot of Republican turncoats (as opposed to independents), we're gonna have Clark as our next president.
