I was a part of the market research that resulted in Alf being on TV. I was watching teh only episode I ever sat down to watch of Miami Vice (just to see what all the hubub was about) when the phone rang.

I answered it. They asked my name and how old I was and whether I wanted to participate and since I didn't have anything better to do I said yes. I spent a half hour on the phone answering questions about "would I watch a show with...". It was surreal not too long afterwards to see Alf on tv and realize that was teh show they were asking me about.

What's really sad is that I knew all the answers pertaining to the "Dukes of Hazzard" and I NEVER once watched it (osmosis from my redneck friends, perhaps).
I graduated HS in '84 and have never seen The Breakfast Club, an episode of the Dukes of Hazzard, and episode of Dallas, the list goes on.
Ugh.

And yes, I went back through the test so that I could note which shows I had never watched. Guess I didn't watch very much TV after high school (I graduated in '80). Does that mean that I grew up in the 70's? Ewwwwwww! That is it. Not a single question about Gilligan's Island!
