we are heading up that way for thanksgiving and every year I am amazed at how my in-laws have no idea of anything fun to do...
So if any of you Michiganers know of anything fun to do in that area...tell me..
(I have kids and I have done the Children's Museum at least four times...my kids are now bored with it...)

Very educational, mostly African. But a wonderful zoo.

Is it open in November?
We normally stop in Lansing for lunch and to visit hubby's alma mater but...but if the Zoo is open and close enough aftewards the kids would like that!

3. I looked it up, it closed for the season last weekend, But they do have |
|
the Zoo Boo going on...8:30-5:30PM, though the 30th of October. It really is a nice Zoo, and something that you can do in just a couple of hours. Admission is cheap as well. I think it was $3.50 last time we were there.

We might let you come back to our zoo if you get rid of the Packers logo :)
I remember when the zoo was just 2 ducks swimming in a pond!

GR has both a hockey team (the Red Wings' top farm club) and a CBA basketball team, if you're into sports. There's a real submarine on display at Muskegon (not far away) -- kids also like stuff like that. But my best advice would be to pick up an event guide (which I know they have in GR) and catch up on the week's activities. John Heck, if everything else fails Saginaw is only 114 miles away. I'm LOADS of fun and I'd be glad to show y'all around The Center of the Universe here.
