October morning

I just looked up to see the perfect October sunrise. The sky is pink along the horizon with a thin layer of purple clouds running through it. Above the pink is a large band of yellow. The whole sky is then topped with grey hues of clouds. The oak trees are skeletal shadows on this backdrop; some have the remnants of leaves, others are bare. The roofline of the house on the next street in just beginning to appear.
