UGH!!! Time to do laundry!
I hate doing the laundry. :puke:

It is my least favorite household chore...maybe because I have to go to the laundromat. :puke:

What is your least favorite household chore?

2. Dusting! Vacuuming! Cleaning the bathroom and kitchen!
Ugh!

Laundry isn't bad, but I have my own washer/dryer. Makes life easier.

3. uggg!
trying to get the soap scum off the walls in the shower. We have very hard water here and you need a jackhammer to get it off, even WITH every new product that has come down the pike to take it off!

4. Changing the litter box/cleaning the oven and stove
I have a gas stove and the dark stuff gets on the the burners and you have to spray and smell that nasty oven cleaner on them to get it off. Yuck!

7. Laundry is always a curse
When I had no car or washer and had to haul it 3 blocks to the laundromat it was a curse.

When I had a car but also a 3-month-old and had to haul child and laundry to the laundromat it was a curse.

Even when I lived in a ranch house and had the washer and dryer conveniently placed between the bathroom and bedroom it was still a a pain in the ass.

The folding is the worst.

25. folding is especially bad
because it takes such a long time up to then, with so many unpleasant things, such as taking the clothing out of the washers and getting them into the dryers. Then by the time the folding part comes, I just do it as quickly as possible and get out of there. How long do you wait to do your laundry actually, Newyawker99?

8. Laundry is probably my favorite.
Edited on Tue Oct-21-03 10:06 AM by Nailzberg
Name another chore that I can accomplish while sitting here in the Lounge. Dusting, vacumming, cleaning windows, cleaning the gutters. THere's a lot of work out there that I try to avoid, but laundry, hell, I could be doing laundry now and still posting.

on edit: I see you have to go to the laundrymat. That changes everything. Of course, I always thought the laundrymat was fun, but really the only time I used them was in college, so it was a good place to meet people.

9. Love laundry, but hated it when I used to go to the laundromat.
So I sympathize.

I hate cleaning the tub. It kills my back to bend over-and our house was built in the 40's and there is no finish left, so it takes forever to clean, and gets dirty again immediately. One day I'll have it refinished.

12. Laundry is my least favorite
household chore, and time waster, as I can never get any real reading done at the laundromat. The people in my apartment complex are either uninteresting, or insane. So that limits conversational flow right there. I often let it go until the last thread is dirty, and of course that means finding so many quarters, and well, yuck. :puke:

15. Laundry
I don't mind doing it or folding it. I hate putting it all away.
So lots of weeks it sits in a basket where the family of 5 get to pick through it. Hey it's clean, if you want unwrinkled put it in the dryer. Picky ass family.

21. bathrooms! I just don't know what happened!!!!
When my boys were learning I put targets in the toilet and when they got to the point where they could hit Cheerios I figured they were piss perfect and okay for polite society and all. I'm not even sure that I want to know how one can piss on the back of the toilet tank - it hurts my head to contemplate it....
