Any good California fat farms?

My vacation is coming up. I was thinking of going to Alaska but I've decided a fat farm (a spa with diet food and exercise) might be a better idea. I'm thinking of a week stay, someplace gay-friendly though not necessarily gay. Someplace nice, with a view, out in the country. I can afford someplace nice. I have no idea where to even start looking. Any places people can recommend?

1. Look in the Napa Valley.

I know there are spas in the area due to the hot springs, but not sure if they are "fat farms".

Look in and around Calistoga specifically...

If you're okay with heat, the Palm Springs and surrounding desert area is gay-friendly and abounds with plush, posh spas.

Used to go there every year when I was much younger. I think Palm Springs is too gay for me right now!

I'm trying to think of the name of where a friend of mine went, but it has escaped me. I'll send her an email and ask her. She really liked it.
