Just who did these people survey?
CNN front page Money headline story says "Survey indicates more spending this holiday" http://www.cnn.com/

....but take the Poll at the bottom of the page that asks "Compared with last year, how much do you plan to spend this holiday?" and you find out that 74% of those voting indicate they plan to spend less this holiday than last.

Just who did the National Retail Federation survey....shoppers at Sak's and Nieman's???

1. Would you be happier if the survey indicated that people were spending les

Do you want the economy to continue to tank or what? It is safe to say that CNN is not a shill for the Dubya posse.

This survey was probably done correctly using a random selection of people, if it weren't no one would be quoting it Not even faux.

2. CNN has most definitely been a shill for the Dubya posse.

They ALL have.

On edit: Do you hear CNN talking about how Bush's numbers are going back down, yet again? Or, whatever happened to the Bush administration deliberately blowing a CIA spooks cover? Since Bush's "The media hates me" tour, CNN has definitely cowed.

4. Agree, BullGooseLoony
CNN is a propaganda shill, just not as utterly infiltrated from top to bottom and stem to stern by Busheviks as Faux or the rest of the Party-Loyal Sub-Media.

But they are infiltrated and parasitized nonetheless.

6. The only thing worth watching on CNN
anymore is Crossfire. Judy Woodruff might as well slap a Bush/Cheney bumper sticker on her head, and Lou Dobbs could sub for Larry Kudlow on CNBC and you would not notice the difference.

5. The descedants of those polled in 1936 wtih FDR and Landon
Landon won in a landslide in that only because the people polled and they were called via the telephone so only the fortunate could say, of course most people didnt and FDR had his greatest victory ever.
