LeBron James' shoes modeled after Hummer (H2)

LeBron James' first series of Nike shoes, which have been dubbed the Air Zoom Generation, have been modeled after, get this, his famous Hummer H2.

The design and look of the shoe were inspired by James' $100,000 vehicle, which his mother bought for him for his 18th birthday last December. The shoes, which will likely be priced in the $150 range, are scheduled to hit stores on Dec. 26.

Nike prepared several mockups of the signature shoe when the company pitched itself, with about $90 million, to James in May. The Cavaliers rookie also had a hand in its final design.

1. Wait...why would they debut these shoes AFTER Christmas?
Wouldn't debuting them the day after Thanksgiving make more sense?

4. Yeah that doesn't sound right
I would think they would debut them on his first Sunday game.

Anyway they missed the "let's-beat-the-hell-out-of-that-kid-for-his-$150-shoes-first-day-of-school" thing .

5. And early preseason reviews are saying
that LeBron's a flop.

(I *SAID* that first - the minute the Cavaliers picked LeBron James after the lottery)

Carmelo Anthony is proving himself that he is doing a great job - the Nuggets are a surprise in the preseasons, only lost two games, won four or five. I predict a playoff run for the Nugs this year.

6. The Nuggets in the playoffs?
Come on don't be so conservative bad a BOLD pick.

I haven't heard that he was a flop but then they aren't going to let anyone know that now are they?

8. nobody said he was a flop
They said he needs to work on his jump shot - which ALL young players do.

LeBron is gonna be big in the NBA. But he's not going to be Jordan. He'll be in every all-star game though, and probably the HOF.

BTW, Nets = 2004/05 Champs!

:)

10. It is up to Lebron only
to be better or as good as Jordan. I say he is off to a pretty fast start to be the next MJ though.
